At Bartlett’s Swim School you can rest assured that we take the Health and Safety of all of our students, employees, visitors and contractors extremely seriously. We believe that health and safety is everyone’s responsibility and therefore it is our duty to make you aware of the unique hazards and risks associated with our facilities, enabling you to take care of yourself and others. Anything new that arises will be updated on this site, so we would encourage you to re-visit this page to stay informed.

- Please watch minors around the pool. All minors must have an adult supervising them at all times.

- The concrete floors are hard and have a rough surface texture to prevent slips when wet, please ensure that everyone under your supervision always walks and never runs. This will prevent any nasty grazes.

- Bags/towels etc in walk ways can cause others to trip over, please be mindful by placing your belongings away in a tidy manner.

- If using the showers, please test the temperature prior to stepping in, just in case it’s too hot for your little ones.

- Please either place rubbish in the bins provided prior to leaving, or take with you.

- Babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers who aren’t toilet trained must wear a swimming nappy when in the pool. If you forget to bring one along for your little one, we sell them at reception, just ask one of our friendly team.

- To keep our pools clean and free from any nasties we keep a minimal amount of safe chemicals on site. Rest assured these are locked away, however, we would still ask that you ensure that no one in your care tries to enter any doors marked ‘Staff Only’.

- In the unlikely event of an emergency our staff are trained in our evacuation procedures and will provide instruction. Each emergency has a different procedure, we ask that you familiarise yourself with our emergency protocols which are located at the entrance of each of our facilities.

- Our team are all first aid trained, if you are feeling unwell or see someone struggling, please approach one of our staff immediately to help.

- We do regular safety checks to ensure that our unique environments are as safe as possible for everyone to enjoy. However, we also rely on our customers to communicate with us. Please, if you see something unsafe, or you’re not comfortable about something, tell us so that we can address it appropriately.

- When arriving or leaving, please be aware of moving vehicles in the carpark and on the road and ensure that your little ones are always supervised.
